Celeste Coetzer obtained her Bachelors in Communication Pathology in Audiology, cum laude, from the University of Pretoria in 2008. She completed her Masters degree in Audiology from the same institute in 2016.
She is co-owner of the practice with ten years of experience in clinical practice. She also has experience in research and student training. Celeste has a passion for paediatric testing and even more so, early intervention and believes that every child with hearing difficulties should obtain the best possible support to develop to their full potential. When she is not at the practice she spends her time with her two beautiful children, loving husband and three very busy dogs.
Best part of being an audiologist: “Providing hope and support to families when they feel discouraged due to hearing difficulties.”
Ingrid Botha obtained her Bachelors in Communication pathology in Speech-Language pathology and Audiology from the University of Pretoria in 2010. After completing her community service year in 2011 she started working in private practice. In 2014 she joined Archer & Mann Audiologists where she expanded her knowledge and experience in Electrophysiological and Vestibular testing. In 2018 she, along with Celeste Coetzer became the co-owners of Archer & Mann Audiologists.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her young family and close friends. She particularly enjoys activities that involves being outside preferably amongst her furry friends.
What I love about Audiology: Being a family orientated person I love how hearing connects us to people, nature and music. Unfortunately the opposite is also true. This one of the many reasons I love Audiology, to provide solutions to people with hearing disorders enabling them to reconnect with the people and things they love most.”
Nadia van Eyssen obtained her Bachelors in Communication Pathology in Audiology in 2012. After completing her community service year in 2013 she has gained experience in both private practice as well as working with hearing aid manufacturers. She joined Archer & Mann Audiologists in November 2017.
Her focus is to ensure that she provides the best possible solutions for each individual’s unique hearing needs. She is especially interested in diagnostic audiology and being part of a team who is able to diagnose a variety of auditory pathologies. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and very busy toddler. They also enjoy going for walks as a family with their equally busy Jack Russels.
Best part of being an audiologist: “Seeing someone’s facial expression when they hear something they haven’t heard in a while; like paper crackling as I turn over pages.”
Maryna Booysen is our practice manager, receptionist and general ‘go-to-person’. She joined the Archer & Mann team in 2013 and has played an integral part of the team ever since. She is an active person, energized by challenges and always willing to help patients, even with the most difficult tasks. She is surely the fittest member of the team, having done a back to back Comrades and the Two Oceans marathon.
Best part of audiology:” Being part of a puzzle that reconnects people with their world. I also believe that hearing well, improves your quality of life.”
Linda van den Bergh is our administrative clerk and joined the Archer & Mann team in 2015. She is kind hearted and always supportive to the patients whether it be over the telephone or assisting them at the reception area.
Best part of audiology: “It is so satisfying to see how not only the patient’s life, but also their families’ lives change once we support them with well fitted hearing aids.”
